Stonewall Equality Walk
With less than two weeks to go before the Brighton Equality Walk on Sunday 11 May, now’s the time to sign up!
It’s Stonewall’s 25th Anniversary and while there are many reasons for us to celebrate how far we’ve come in this milestone year, we know there is so much still to do to protect lesbian, gay and bisexual young people from homophobia.
By taking part in the Brighton Equality Walk, you’ll be helping us make a difference to the lives of thousands of young people facing homophobic and biphobic bullying each and every day.
Money raised from the Walk will go towards campaigns like – Gay. Let’s Get the Meaning Straight – a new resource to help teachers tackle the issue of homophobic language, which most people think of as harmless banter. You can find out more about this campaign and our education work here.
You can register as an individual or as a team of friends and colleagues. So, what are you waiting for? Join hundreds of other Stonewall supporters to help stamp homophobic language out for good.
