Citypink was formed by a group of gay professional women representing a number of city professional institutions and launched in January 2004.

The focus of the network has been to create a forum where gay professional women can meet. We are now looking to move the network forward to become a force for the advancement of the profile and visibility of gay professional women in the workplace.

The citypink mission is to become a selective networking club of gay professional women within the city, which will further our own professional development and enable the retention, development and progression of gay women in industry as a whole.

Citypink will

• Identify and address key issues for gay professional women .
• Focus on the development and advancement of gay professional women.
• Seek to identify and put forth positive role models from which other gay professional women can learn.
• Create a stimulating and friendly environment in which gay women can learn from each other and share experiences.
